​We're Marianne and Mel, the musical duo behind Sisters in Song. Our journey as a duo together began in 2024, but our sisterhood and individual musical paths started long before that.

Mel brings her expertise as a dedicated music and singing teacher, with formal training from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and qualifications in guitar, violin, piano, and vocals.

Marianne's background combines classical training with theatrical flair. With qualifications in music, singing, and violin, she's spent the last decade performing on stage portraying Nancy in "Oliver," Emily in "Elf," Paulette in "Legally Blonde," and Justice in "Rock of Ages" at the Kings Theatre Glasgow. Beyond the theatre, Marianne loves entertaining at tribute nights dedicated to Queen and The Greatest Showman.

Though we've both been performing at weddings since 2016 as solo artists, coming together as Sisters in Song has allowed us to create something truly special, fusing violin and vocals.
